Steve Bagnato, John Neisworth, and Kristie Pretti-Frontczak are conducting a survey designed to provide consumer ratings of early childhood assessment measures. The information gained will be used in developing a resource for all those working with young children regarding how well various assessment measures meet recommended practices.
Completion of the survey is voluntary and you may stop at any time without penalty. As a participant you will not be asked to provide any identifying information and we will not track your computer's IP address or e-mail provided. Upon agreeing to participate, you will be assigned a unique and random number. This number in no way identifies you as a participant, but does pair your basic demographic information with your ratings of various assessment measures. Your ID will be e-mailed to you, but researchers are not able to retrieve your ID if lost, nor are we able to see or record the e-mails to which IDs are sent. For questions or concerns, please contact Dr. Kristie Pretti-Frontczak at 330-672-0597 or kprettif@kent.edu. Information about Kent State University's rules for research can be obtained from Dr. John West, Vice President and Dean, Division of Research and Graduate Studies 330-672-2851.
If this is the first time you are agreeing to participate, please provide us with basic information regarding your role in working with young children. You will then receive an ID number via e-mail and can then return to this page as a returning user and begin the survey.
Enter the ID number that was sent to you via e-mail then click submit. Once logged in, you will see an alphabetical list of assessment measures you can rate. Rating each assessment measure takes 10-15 minutes.
