ksu excellence in action Library / Media Programs

Library/Media licensure can only be obtained by someone who already possesses a teaching license. It is not a stand-alone license. After completing the coursework, you apply for the licensure (#050675) by completing the Initial Ohio Teaching License Application and submitting it through the college's Office of Student Services in White Hall 304.

There are three possible routes to Library/Media Licensure (see below). Please click on the one that matches your situation. If you do not fit any of these categories, please contact the program coordinator to discuss other options.

Admissions requirements include a completed admission form, a goal statement, undergraduate transcripts (preferably with an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0), and two letters of recommendation. For the Initial Licensure Program, Graduate Record Exam results must be submitted (but not for the other two options).
